Description

Tracey Emin於1963年出生，畢業於皇家藝術學院，為英國當代藝術運動 Young British Artists（YBAs）的代表人物之一，有「壞女孩」藝術家之稱號，以其作品《我的床》（My Bed）入圍透納獎並備受爭議。2011年，她獲委任為皇家藝術研究院繪畫教授，成為該校於1768 年創校以來，首兩位的其中之一位女性教授。她的創作媒介廣泛，如有霓虹、刺繡和攝影等，作品充滿詩意與生活激情，毫無設限地探討當今女性角色，作品更受多位名人收藏。


此本藝術書籍為邁阿密當代藝術博物館MOCA於2013年為Tracey Emin於Art Basel Miami期間舉行大型個展所出版的書籍，此展覽為首次以他霓虹燈管文字為主的展覽，從早年直白、不加修飾的私人情感表達到後期隱晦、開放結局的敘事文字，此書籍收錄的霓虹燈管文字為他藝術生涯的重要作品。
